About
APRIL 10, 2020 - APRIL 10, 2024
GenZHER™ was a youth-led digital media platform with the mission of amplifying the unique voices of Gen Z girls and women as well as speaking on issues that are prevalent in a global perspective through media, education, and community-based advocacy.
GenZHER™ started from the idea of a fifteen-year-old girl. What started off as a simple idea of a blog, grew into an organization with an international team passionate about covering issues that truly impact every member of Gen Z in every corner of the world.

Who is Gen-Z?
GENERATION Z | 1997-2010 | AGES 12 – 25
We’re sure you’ve heard the term, “Gen Z,” but maybe you’re wondering what (or, who) Gen Z is. Well, Gen Z refers to the generation following “millennials,” in other words, those born between the years 1997 - 2010.
“We live in an increasingly digital world and our generation faces some of the biggest and most irreversible social, political, and environmental issues. Our generation has seen it all — we’ve grown up in a problematic society with its norms being engraved in our brain, but we’re slowly trying to unlearn what we’ve been taught and striving to create the change we want to see in the world we live in. As young people, we will go on to bear the burdens of irresponsible climate policies, education cuts, and inept leadership. With this in mind, we must have our voices heard, valued, and represented. We always seek to amplify young voices in our work.”
